2003 Childbirth Education Association of Orange County
"Deep within every woman is the ability to
birth.
When she has the confidence in her own
abilities,
the encouragement and freedom to tap
into her innate wisdom,
and has the loving support of family,
friends,
and professionals who believe this too,
she will truly have a satisfying birth
experience."

                                   A Message from Outgoing President
Nancy Manix...

Good news!  CEAOC will not be disbanding!

Fortunately, we had enough interest in the
board that we were able to fill all positions
required and the CEAOC Executive Board
has plans to move forward with a
transition year for these new members.
CEAOC will not be hosting a conference
this year, but will look forward to providing
a continuing education opportunity in 2011.

It has been my great pleasure and honor to
serve CEAOC as President for the past
three years.  While I will be handing over
the presidential responsibilities to
Becky Ward during this upcoming
year of transition, I will not be leaving
CEAOC completely.  I will continue to help with
conference marketing and execution.

I appreciate and thank each member and conference attendee for
your support and encouragement during my term as President,
and for your ongoing service to the Childbirth Community.

Every one of you is a wonderful asset and resource for the CEAOC
organization.  Keep up the good work you do in promoting freedom
of choice based on knowledge of alternatives, and supporting
child-bearing families in Orange County.

Warm Regards,

Nancy Manix, MPT, LCCE, IBCLC
