OUR MISSION STATEMENT: The Childbirth Education Association of Orange County (CEAOC) is committed to professional and community enrichment, provides a forum for professional interaction and continuing education, and offers help to others within the Maternal-Child health care community. We embrace the ICEA philosophy: “Freedom to make decisions based on knowledge of alternatives in family-centered maternity and newborn care." |

| Jane Heinig is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant on the faculty in the Department of Nutrition at University of California, Davis, where she conducts research in the areas of public health nutrition, clinical lactation, nutrition education, program evaluation, policy development and infant nutrition. Dr. Heinig serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Human Lactation, Executive Director of the U.C. Davis Human Lactation Center, and Graduate Advisor for the Master’s Degree Program in Maternal and Child Nutrition at U.C. Davis. |
